Squadron 53 respond to Vietnam Memorial Wall Visit
7/6/2010 -- The Sons
were totally responsible for the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall. Squadron 53
contacted all the volunteers and had Sons at 4 hour intervals to check in the
new volunteers around the clock - 24 hours each day of the visit by the wall. Of
the 150 people to man the wall, at least 25 were Sons, and they had abut 15 Sons
erecting the wall and 15 Sons at the take down of the wall at the start and end
of its stay.
Friday after the opening ceremony 25 Sons had at the steak dinner to honor
the opening ceremony of the Wall. The Sons totally put on the dinner and handled
all the details.
